You People Make My Ass Twitch

If you don't get the quote of the title, ignore it, people don't make my ass twitch. But (no pun intended), my massage therapist almost fell over laughing at me when she asked how my last massage went. I muttered about how it was ok, and I felt ok, blah blah. Then she asked if anything hurt, and I blurted out "yea, my ASS hurt!" I guess she didn't expect me to say that. She said, "well, that's one way of saying it" :) I'm just a trouble maker. I thought it was pretty funny though. But damn, has anyone ever had their butt massaged? It really hurts!

and her massage room is so odd. The one at the hospital I don't like as well. It's got purplish dull painted walls, and that's about it. she's got this light which is supposed to be soothing (it's fairly dim), but it's plugged into the same outlet as the big heater (heats up these nice big rocks she uses to massage), and it flickers, brighter, waits a few minutes, then dims, and it is so annoying! I thought I was losing my mind the first time I went in there.

Her room at the PT rehab place is much nicer. No flickering lights, a nice soothing blue wall color. ANd this awesome painted picture! It was this forest, with these sun beams of light coming down through the trees. And about midway down, the beams of light started forming bird-like shapes (very subtlely), which later down formed into these faery forms. So beautiful. Very inspiring...inspired me to take a nap :)

Anyway, she was nice to me today, only massaged my back and upper arms/shoulders. I had to have her leave my lower arms alone, since they're basically useless now. I can't get by a minute without arm braces, I think my tendons are really pissed off at me. I'll go bug my dr with that tomorrow. Do you know how hard it is to shift with an arm brace? I almost hurt my car baby today, I was trying to shift, but the handle slipped off the hard plasticy part of the brace, and just about went into 1st instead of 3rd. I caught it, so nothing happened, which is good since I was going about 45. tricksy hobbitses. Anyway, speaking of arms, hurt too much to type right now, gonna go be a couch potato and watch...hmm, maybe I'll watch Xena...AGAIN :)
